Brian Anderson is an artist living in Muncie, Indiana. Brian creates artwork is connected to figure drawing sessions and costumed figure and that he has collaborated with groups like the Saint Louis Drawing & Painting Group. In addition Brian also creates artwork in his sketchbooks and finished work based on the energy of people in coffee shops and urban settings. He can also be seen indulging in plein-air painting activities.
Brian has also taken a recent interest in portraying the towns and landscapes that reflect the architecture and lingering energy of the early 20th century, partularly in the old town-squares and the particularly compact layout of downtown areas of these communities.
Living in Indiana, and on occasion traveling back to Saint Louis, both settings and characters from each locale feature in his work.
